Tips for your application

Your first impression is a lasting impression. Therefore, your application must be orderly and without spelling and grammar mistakes. Following tips may be useful to successfully apply with GEDIA:

• The cover letter should not be longer than one page
• If you refer to a concrete vacancy advertisement, send us your motivation, why you are interested in this position and what makes you the ideal candidate for this position.
• Your photo must be suitable and recent.
• Specify all your contact data: phone and cell phone number, address, e-mail address and website (if applicable).
• Applications sent by e-mail should be in PDF format and should not be larger than 2 MB.

Resume

Your resume should be clear and honest. It should include your personal data, educational background, military or alternative service, major fields of study, secondary employments, interships and other relevant knowledge. Please also mention in your resume all other relevant skills such as knowledge of foreign languages and professional trainings.

Testimonials

Please add all testimonials and references to your application. This includes school graduation certificates, if applicable previous study efforts (for instance pre-degree certificate or current grades overview of the examination office) and job references of previous employments or internships. Other documents such as workshop certificates of additional qualifications should only be added if relevant for this vacancy.

Online application

If you intend to send us your application by e-mail please make sure your send a printable document. The message should not be larger than 2 MB. We prefer to receive your documents in PDF format. If the required software is not available please send us your application by mail.
